We had Lemon Drops, Exploding Candy, Canary Creams, Bertie Botts Sour Beans, Acid Pops, Droobles Best Blowing Gum, Chocolate Frogs...
We had Chocolate Golden Snitches
Cauldron Cakes
and, of course, we had Butterbeer!
But we forgot to sing Happy Birthday! We made up for it later that day. That post will come later!

Getting ready for our Potter bash in March for our 3 daughters. Was wondering if you could suggest a butterbeer recipe? Thanks so much - Amy Dugan

Amy-
I just put a couple teaspoons of butter flavoring in the bottom of the glasses and then poured cold cream soda on top. I also added a little bit of the butter flavoring to whipping cream for the top. (2 cups heavy cream, 6 tbls sugar, 2 tsp vanilla, 1 tsp butter flavoring)
You can get the butter flavoring wherever you can get rootbeer, rum, etc.
I hope your party goes well. Send me some photos if you think about it. Id love to see what you did!

Hi Andrea,
Your party looks amazing! How did you make the chocolate snitches?
Thankyou!

Susie-
I just used those Ferrero Rocher candies and attached golden glitter paper I found at a craft store. I just used hot glue to attach them.
Thanks for checking out my blog!

Everything is so amazing. We are having a Harry Potter party for my daughter - 9yrs. Our biggest issue is the number of children invited. We will make use of many of your ideas but on a smaller scale.

We are getting ready for a Harry Potter Birthday party here! I really want to put the labels on the cups for the butter beer. Where did you find those? Your site has been a great inspiration to us! Thanks for any help you can offer.

Where did you find the butterbeer labels?

Jackie-
I actually made them. I googled for the image and then printed it onto clear labels. It's not a very good quality image, but it worked for the kids.
